You can access your Host Pinoy Shared Account through SSL. This encrypts all traffic between the client machine and the Host Pinoy server, making the communication secure. You would use this for ecommerce or for sensitive administrative logins.
There are two ways to access your site through SSL encryption:

Where your username is the username you use to log into your cpanel. The above example would take you to your home page. Contact us if you are not sure what the ip address of the server that you are assigned on happens to be. If you want people to access your website using your domain name only (e.g. https://www.yourdomain.com/) instead of going through Host Pinoy's server ip, you will need your own dedicated IP address which is an additional $2.00 per month and you will need to purchase a private SSL certificate. When the private SSL certificate is installed, you will then be able to access your site over SSL using: https://www.yourdomain.com/ |
